2. Construction crew safety guide lines

In order to install the GRP Tank cleanly and safely, it is required for the construction crew and the project owners to dutifully follow the below guidelines.

1) All workers need to put on safety shoes and hard hats during construction.
2) All workers are required to wear a clean work uniform and shirt with buttoned sleeves.
3) You need to change into dustless, non-slippery trainer type shoes in case perform work on
the inside wall or the ceiling panel.
4) In order to prevent safety accidents, a worker should not carry any part heavier than 25kg,
which is fit for two men.
5) If two or more people are working in co-operation, it is necessary for the workers to plan
their actions in advance.
6) High level work requires scaffolds (that have safety equipment on them) to prevent
workers and parts from falling or slipping.
7) You need to check whether the slab and the surroundings of the work site are safe,
before starting the installation.
8) When water-tank panels are being transported to a higher floor, the people working on
the upper floor need to put on safety belts, while the workers below must avoid being under
the products going up
9) Take care not to fall when you work on the tank ceiling.
10) You should not touch or step on any wires or steel bars littering the work site
to avoid an electric shock. If you want to remove them, contact the engineers concerned
that are sent by the project owner.
11) If electronic equipment is used, check in advance for the possibility of electricity leaks
such as from the power supply, receptacle and transformer.
12) If the floor of the work site is wet, or it rains, you must not do any installation.
13) Proper protective eyewear should be used when working in strong sunlight.
14) There should never be any smoking when inside the tank, or during tank installation.
Smokers can use designated places to smoke.
15) Flammable material cannot be stored inside the tank. Such materials need to be stored in
a separate storage place under continuous supervision.
16) If the water tank is to be installed on a high rooftop area, you need to keep in mind the fact
that the wind is stronger there. Therefore, you should pay close attention to prevent
the panels from being blown and falling, which can cause damage to life and property.
17) In the case when the work site needs a temporary illumination flashlights or hat lights
can be used; however the use of flammable materials (such as matches or candles) are
strictly prohibited.
18) No one should be allowed to live in the warehouse. If necessary, temporary
accommodation can be built apart from the storage facility, after being approved of
by the work-site director.

* Note: You need to deal with all the parts carefully, because any scratch or slight corner dent
during delivery, transfer or assembly can cause leaks. Ahead of installation, it is highly
recommended that you become familiar with the reasons water leaks occur.
