PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS
The PETRONAS Twin Towers are part of phase one of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) project. Located at the North-West comer of the 100-acre development, the towers stand majestically at 452 m, visible for more than 20 km outside the city.

The 88-storey PETRONAS Twin Towers have been acknowledged by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, as the tallest buildings in the world.

The PETRONAS Twin Towers will have a total built up area of 341,760 sq m (3.7 million sq ft). The main vertical transportation are a total of 58 doubledeck high-speed lifts, 29 in each tower.

The KLCC development is undertaken and managed by Kuala Lumpur City Centre Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd which is an investment holding and property development company in which PETRONAS, the national petroleum company has 49.5 percent equity. The MAI Holdings Group holds 48 percent of the equity, and while the remaining 2.5 percent is held by minority shareholders.
