KORVAN Co., Ltd was officially classified as a Venture Firm in 2002 and marked annual sales of 50 million USD$ in 2004 and 130 million USD dollars 2005. Galvanized Liquitainer
Where space is at a premium, the Liquitainer ® / Firetainer ® tank is an ideal solution for bulk water storage indoors or out. A wide range of shapes and any length or width can be catered for, with a maximum height of 4.5m.
Using steel sections of either rectangular, circular or u-beams, a structure is formed which eliminates the need for internal bracing. Galvanised steel panels are bolted between the sections and the interior is fitted with an open top tailored membrane liner. Alternative covers are available either fl at with a raised ball valve housing for indoor use, or with a low profile pitch for outdoor use.
Liquitainer ®/ Firetainer ® tanks can be located on any suitable flat load bearing surface, such as an existing reinforced concrete floor, or roof top, and are simply bolted to the floor surface.
Firetainer ® tanks are approved by the UK Loss Prevention Certification Board for the storage of fire sprinkler water.

Versatility in design. A variety of shapes and sizes can be supplied. Existing obstructions such as building support columns can be encapsulated within the tank by ‘sleeving’ the membrane liner around them.
Ease and speed of assembly. No sealants are used in the construction of the tank. All that is required is straightforward site assembly.
Simplicity of foundations. There is no need to seal the tank to the concrete foundation. The membrane liner has a floor in it and the tank shell is simply bolted to the foundation.
Low maintenance. The outer steelwork structure is hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 (1999) and the shell panels and connection plates are manufactured from pre-galvanised steel sheet coated with a heavy duty spangle finish, complying to BS EN 10147 Grade Fe E280G. Internally the membrane liner will not rot or degrade in the same way that other coatings and finishes do, under normal water storage conditions.

Galvanised Tritainer

For small to medium capacities of water storage, where space is at a premium, the Tritainer ®/ Firetainer ® tank offers a cost effective solution.
Using triangular shaped galvanised steel panels which make up 1.0m2 modules that are then bolted together on site, a rapidly assembled rectangular tank that can fit into small and difficult spaces can be provided. Internally a hot vulcanised tailor made membrane liner is fitted to the tank. Any length and width can be catered for, with a maximum height of 2.5m.
Firetainer ® tanks are approved by the UK Loss Prevention Certification Board for the storage of fire sprinkler water.


- Easy to handle, relatively small panels, enabling easy access to restricted areas.
- No internal bracing. This means no internal corrosion problems.
- No sealants or gaskets to the tank shell, which means faster installation and elimination of
leakage problems.
- Insulation can be placed internally between the tank liner and tank wall, thereby protecting
the insulation from the environment and vandalism.

Galvanized Liquistore

For standard fire sprinkler water storage applications or general industrial water storage requirements, the Liquistore ® / Firestore ® tank is a cost effective solution.
Using site assembled components, consisting of overlapped and bolted galvanised steel panels with either a trough deck or aluminium sectional site assembled cover, together with an internal, open top membrane liner, the Liquistore ® / Firestore ® offers a truly long life and low maintenance water storage system.
Standard tanks are available in capacities from 10m3 (2,200 UK gallons) to 2,222m3 (488,840 UK gallons) and in diameters from 3.06m to 21.40m and heights from 1.25m to 13.26m. Non standard and larger size tanks are available upon request.
Firestore ® tanks are approved by the UK Loss Prevention Certification Board and Factory Mutual Assurance of the United States of America for storage of fire sprinkler water and by the UK Water Regulations Advisory Scheme for the storage of potable water under the name Liquistore®.

Ease and speed of assembly. No sealants are used on the tank shell. This means that site installation can make full use of hydraulic jacking with the confi dence in knowing that the integrity of the tank is not reliant on a large number of individual panel seals. Simplicity of foundations. All that is required to site the tank
Simplicity of foundations. All that is required to site the tank is a fl at load bearing surface, typically of reinforced concrete. The bottom rolled angle at the tank base is simply bolted to the concrete floor.
Low maintenance. The galvanised steel panels to the tank are made from high quality pre-galvanised strip to BS2989 Grade Z35, with a zinc coating of 300g/m2 each side of the panel. For plate thicknesses above 4.2mm, each plate is hot dip galvanised to the requirements of BS EN ISO 1461 (1999). This means a highly corrosion resistant exterior fi nish to the tank. Internally the hot vulcanised, tailor-made membrane liner separates the stored water from the tank shell, often a major cause of corrosion. The membrane liner itself will not rot or deteriorate in the same way that other coatings and fi nishes to the interior of tanks will.

Aluminum Liquistore

The tank is of cylindrical bolted construction, made from EN 48S-2 Type EN AW 5083- H22 aluminium alloy with aluminium angle strengthening hoops of Grade 6082-T4 at the top and bottom, and is supplied with an aluminium low profile sectional cover incorporating a ball valve housing and access way.

In addition the tank is fitted with an open top internal membrane liner. The assembled tank is clamped down with anchor bolts fixed to the base.
All tanks are normally supplied complete with external aluminium hooped access ladder (beginning approximately 2.4m from tank base), aluminium handrailing around the access platform, calibrated contents gauge, 25mm warning overflow, 80mm drain valve and other connections as required.
Standard tanks are available in capacities from 20m3 (4,400 UK gallons) to over 5000m3 (1,100,000 UK gallons), diameters from 3.06m to 32.17m and heights from 2.477m to 13.26m. Tanks can be supplied on a specially designed steel support structure at any specified height above ground level. Non-standard and larger sizes in other tank materials and cover types can be built to suit particular applications.
Our standard Liquistore ® is designed to withstand normal UK conditions when fully complete and filled. Non-standard designs are available to meet particular criteria. Fully complete but unfilled, the standard Liquistore ® will normally withstand moderate wind loadings. Actual performance will depend upon tank configuration and diameter to height ratio. Where a Liquistore ® is expected to be subject to particularly severe conditions, or to be regularly in the unfilled condition, additional strengthening will be provided.

Our Firestore/Liquistore range of cylindrical tanks are our most popular. Using flat sheets of high grade, high zinc galvanised steel, or a “marine grade” alloy of aluminium, Firestore / Liquistore tanks are bolted together on site with a tailor made internal liner to contain the stored water.
