The national standardisation programme is coordinated by the Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING Singapore), the national standards authority. It is to establish and publish Singapore Standards, by notification in the Government Gazette.
The national standardisation programme develops Singapore Standards on a consensus basis and promotes the wide acceptance of Singapore Standards by industry and government to enhance enterprises' business competitiveness.
